The Greater Shepparton Business Centre will hold its next small business training workshop, Starting your Business, on Wednesday 21 October.
Small Business Development Officer at the Greater Shepparton Business Centre, Jo Rathjen, said the workshop would provide the answers to many questions and direct people to avoid the mistakes commonly made when opening a new business."This workshop is essential for people wanting support for an idea or to assess their readiness to start a business. The workshop will also assist participants to register a business or company name and take the right steps towards protecting that name," Ms Rathjen said.
"The workshop will give participants the confidence and knowledge to decide whether to start from scratch, buy into an existing business or buy a franchise. It will also help to choose the most suitable structure for their business."
Julie Guest, who provides business consulting across Victoria and southern NSW, will present the seminar.
Starting your Business will be held on Wednesday 21 October from 6.00pm to 9.30pm at the Greater Shepparton Business Centre, 70 New Dookie Road, Shepparton.
