Record Tenancy at the Greater Shepparton Business Centre
In a telling indication of the commitment to and success of small business in the local community, the Greater Shepparton Business Centre is enjoying full occupancy for the first time in three years.
Greater Shepparton City Council Manager Economic Development Matthew Nelson says that the full tenancy reflects the confidence of the business community in Shepparton.
“There are 16 offices spaces and six shed spaces at the business centre and to have them all occupied shows the strength of small businesses in Shepparton,” says Mr Nelson.
“The benefit for small businesses at the business centre is that the Council provides support to tenants, including assistance with business plans, referrals and business development programs.
“We also have four training rooms, including a computer training room, which we hire out to tenants and to the public.
“A highlight of our calendar is also our Under New Management workshops, which provide information to people either wanting to start a new business or who have already set up their business.
“We also have our Business at Home network for people who work from home but still want to be involved in networking opportunities and workshops.”
