Business Centre to host industrial relations seminar
A free seminar to assist business owners navigate the complex world of industrial relations legislation will be held at the Greater Shepparton Business Centre on Tuesday 1 September 2009.
Participants will gain an understanding of the key legislative changes, what they mean and the impact on businesses.Acting Business Centre Coordinator Jo Rathjen said the seminar will cover a range of areas to help give business owners better understanding of the changes to industrial relations laws.
"Topics including changes to national employment standards, unfair dismissal laws and employment contracts will all be covered," Ms Rathjen said.
"The seminar will be presented by Michael Corrigan and Maureen Kyne, both of whom have significant experience in the areas of industrial relations."
Two sessions will be held on Tuesday 1 September from 3.00pm to 5.00pm and 6.00pm to 8.00pm.
